MARQUETTE — Heather Addison has been promoted to Senior Trust Officer at The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT). Addison joined SNBT in 2018 as a trust officer in the Investment Services Office located in Marquette, Michigan. Prior to joining SNBT, Addison spent 12 combined years working as an attorney at Hackney, Grover, Hoover & Bean and multiple Northern Michigan non-profit organizations. Her experience, along with her leadership skills and client relationships have been an asset to the bank’s multifaceted trust team. In her new role, Addison will oversee the Personal Trust Team, a newly formed section of our broader Wealth Management department.
Addison, a Marquette native, earned her bachelor of arts at Albion College in Albion, Michigan, followed by her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. Addison has also completed other courses including wills and trusts, estate planning, and taxes. In 2020 she graduated from the Cannon Trust School with the Honor Graduate designation, Cannon’s highest academic distinction.
Addison serves with various community organizations, such as a volunteer for JJ Packs, a weekend food program for school kids; a trustee for Marquette Regional History Center, a treasurer for Boy Scout Troop 372, and a board member for the Marquette Alger Resolution Service. She, along with her husband, Cameron, and their two children, live in Marquette where they enjoy all Upper Peninsula outdoor activities.
