H2M’s Martello to replace Hyman as regional office director

H2M architects + engineers announced that Charles A. (Chuck) Martello, P.E. has been promoted to regional office director. Martello’s promotion signals a transition of leadership as Steven J. Hyman, P.E. retires from his principal office director role.

Over the last five years, H2M has seen substantial growth in the tri-state area. The firm now holds nine offices including their most recently opened Connecticut location. All office locations have been managed by Hyman.

Hyman recently retired from his full-time role and is moving into a part-time position as leadership development specialist at H2M. Hyman has over 40 years of experience in the A/E industry and has been vital to the success of our regional office structure in the last three years.

Prior to his role as principal office director, Hyman was integral in rebuilding H2M’s Civil Engineering practice and developing the H2M Real Estate Market.

With this change, H2M’s office directors will be undergoing a transition in leadership as Martello takes on the role of regional office director.

In 2022, office directors will report directly to Martello, and he will have the overall responsibility for the success of regional offices and ensuring the cooperation/coordination of offices-markets-disciplines.

He has been with H2M for over 30 years. His previous role was office director of H2M’s Parsippany, N.J. location, providing leadership and oversight to the office as the firm expanded their service offerings throughout the New Jersey market.
