Last call for 5 under 40 nominations

New year, same labor shortages.

We’ve got an update for you on how the region continues to fare during staffing squeezes. We talked to a local employment agency, Career Solutions and an SCSU economist about the labor market right now.

But while it’s tight, the labor pool is one of the reasons area business leaders said companies should consider Minnesota when choosing a place to start. DEED Commissioner Steve Grove met virtually with St. Cloud-area business leaders to discuss what Central Minnesota has to offer new businesses as the state tries to encourage more people to start their companies in Minnesota. We’ve got that in a roundup for you (and no, the weather doesn’t make the list).
