LEWISTON — Tracy Roy was sworn in June 2 as Lewiston finance director.
Roy most recently served as finance director and treasurer for Augusta given that October 2020. In advance of that she was Augusta’s deputy finance director, treasurer and tax collector from 2013-20 York’s finance director from 2011-13 Auburn’s finance director from 2009-11 South Portland ‘s controller from 2003-09 and an accountant for South Portland from 2001-03.
“Tracy has a prosperity of municipal finance encounter, which includes her modern post at the town of Augusta. She is a Lewiston native and returning residence,” Lewiston Town Administrator Heather Hunter said.
“We are happy to have Tracy on board, and I’m enthusiastic for the city of Lewiston,” Mayor Carl L. Sheline claimed.
Roy has a Bachelor of Science degree in organization accounting from the College of Maine of Augusta, is a board member of the Maine Govt Finance Officers Affiliation, and has continued her skilled education by way of the Kennebec Leadership Institute and the Governing administration Finance Officers Association.
“I am energized to commence this new obstacle and to be doing the job with the Lewiston team,” Roy mentioned.
