LIA elects new members to board of directors

The Long Island Association welcomes new members to its board of directors.

Hailing from the region’s business and non-profit community, the leaders represent organizations that contribute to Long Island’s economy.

Joining the board are John Flanagan, senior vice president of Regional Government Affairs, Northwell Health; Dr. Joseph Greco, senior vice president and chief of hospital operations, NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island; Chris Hahn, vice president of External Affairs, PSEG Long Island; Billy Haugland, co-president, Haugland Group; Neela Lockel, president and CEO, EAC Network; Deirdre O’Connell, CEO, Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty; Marc Perez, president, Bank of America Long Island; Jeffrey Reynolds, president and CEO, Family & Children’s Association.

Of the new members most were elected on March 4, joining two new members who became board members in January.

“The Long Island Association is honored to have the new appointees join the organization’s board of directors,” Lawrence Waldman, LIA chairman, said in a statement. “Their perspectives will be valuable as we collaborate to continue to create a positive business climate for Long Island.”

“The Long Island Association’s board of directors represent diverse industries and institutions, and the experience of the new Board members will enhance the LIA’s deep bench of expertise, contributing towards our efforts to strengthen our region’s economy,” Matt Cohen, LIA president and CEO, said in a statement.
