Sahn Ward merges with Weinstein Kaplan & Cohen
Sahn Ward – the law firm headquartered in Uniondale, with offices in Hauppauge and New York City – has merged with Weinstein Kaplan & Cohen, a law firm in Garden City.
The firm’s new moniker is Sahn Ward Braff Koblenz, and it will maintain all four locations. With the merger, the firm has 31 attorneys as well as a team of paralegals, legal assistants and support professionals.
The firm focuses on a wide range of practice areas. These areas include zoning and land use planning, real estate and corporate law and transactions, commercial litigation and appeals, municipal law and legislative practice, employment law and wage and hour litigation, environmental law, matrimonial and family law, trusts and estates, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, personal injury and criminal defense.
Robert Cohen will become counsel to the firm, continuing his practice concentrating in commercial litigation, real estate, trusts and estates and corporate law.
Daniele DeVoe, who concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, employment law and wage and hour litigation and bankruptcy and creditors rights, will be a partner with the firm.
Erika Conti, who concentrates her practice in family and matrimonial law, will also serve as a partner.
Michael Sahn and Robert Cohen pointed out that they have known each other for many years, sharing mutual clients.
