Buckle up, friends. The news has arrived.
Speaking of buckling up, one St. Cloud teacher has been doing so in the passenger seat for almost 40 years. Bob Bjornstad stepped down last month as Cathedral High School’s driving instructor after helping more than 4,000 students learn how to drive. (And yes, during the interview, I did ask for pointers on parallel parking. I’d still caution you not to expect much from me.)
And next time you’re in St. Joseph, peek into the window of the former Sliced building. It’s now home to a sweet shop whose grand opening is April 1. Spoiler alert: There’s a giant chicken painted on the wall, if nothing else can entice you.
Finally, if your hail damage repair is taking from now until next Christmas, there’s a reason for that. (Several, actually.) I spoke with several auto body shops about what’s keeping them from finishing jobs quickly. (And if you’ve got a “supply chain story” Bingo card started, add this one.)
Keep up the good work. You’re almost to Friday.
