Unified Women’s Healthcare is expanding its offices in Westbury.
The company leased an additional 5,243 square feet of office space on a portion of the second floor at 900 Merchants Concourse in Westbury, bringing its total footprint at the location to 8,615 square feet.
Founded in 2009 to provide management services to ob-gyn practices, Unified Women’s Healthcare has grown to become the largest physician practice management company dedicated solely to women, supporting more than 2,500 providers across nearly 900 locations in North America.
The 153,000-square-foot building at 900 Merchants Concourse is owned by an affiliate of Vectra Management Group and Hornig Capital Partners, which acquired the property for $29 million in 2018, according to public records. The building features newly renovated elevators and lobby, an internal loading dock and 550 parking spaces.
Brian Lee of Newmark represented the tenant, while Ted Stratigos, Todd Korren and Amanda Gorozdi of Avison Young represented the landlord in the lease expansion and extension.
“Unified Women’s Healthcare’s expansion will more than double its presence at 900 Merchants Concourse, which speaks to the strength of healthcare tenants in today’s market and the allure of the building’s high-quality space, stable ownership and sought-after amenities,” Korren said in a written statement. “Ownership has done a meticulous job in the renovations and upkeep of 900 Merchants Concourse, which continues to experience activity from tenants looking to regionalize their operations or relocate to a building with a convenient commute for its employees while also offering an abundance of nearby food, stores and entertainment options.”
