New names for HCA’s two Ocala hospitals and other outlets
Ocala Regional Medical Center has been renamed HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, and West Marion Community Hospital is now HCA Florida West Marion Hospital following HCA Florida Healthcare’s uniting of over 450 affiliated hospitals, emergency rooms, urgent care centers and other care sites across the state under one brand.
HCA Florida Healthcare, which will provide care to over 6.4 million patients each year, is part of Nashville-based HCA Healthcare, which operates 182 hospitals and over 2,000 other care sites in 20 states and the United Kingdom. Other local HCA facilities, which were previously encompassed by Ocala Health under HCA Healthcare, are now known as HCA Florida Summerfield Emergency, HCA Florida Maricamp Emergency and HCA Florida Trailwinds Village Emergency.
All hospitals and physician practices are now under a unified website, hcafloridahealthcare.com, but there are no changes to facility hours of operation or phone numbers.
